As the premier interior designer in Summit, NJ, KR Interior Design provides full-service design solutions for your home. From one room to whole homes to new builds, we ensure a cohesive and stylish result. This is our process:

• STEP 1 → Initial consultation at client’s home to review project and scope.

• STEP 2 → KR Interior Design sends Design Agreement to client detailing the scope of the job and estimated interior design hours based on historical data. Client finalizes and signs.

• STEP 3 → Kick-off meeting is conducted. We measure the discussed spaces, take photos, and show inspirational images to the client to gather aesthetic.

• STEP 4 → KR Interior Design meets at the site to present suggested interior design concepts, complete with floor plans/furniture layouts to best utilize the space, initial large furniture selections, and available samples.

• STEP 5 → Final design meeting is conducted. This includes finalized floor plans, mood boards/2D renderings, samples/swatches, and all furnishing items. Furnishing / design is discussed. One round of revisions will be conducted if needed.

• STEP 6 → Furnishing / décor is agreed upon and purchased by KR Interior Design.

• STEP 7 → KR Interior Design tracks orders and inspects upon arrival at our climate controlled warehouse.  Any returns/repairs will be handled by our team.

  STEP 8 → Install day! Our team manages the full install and accessorizes the space. Clients can choose which accessories to keep.

  STEP 8 → Your beautiful and functional new home is now complete!

The Bath Edit

PRICE: $4,500

Not every bathroom renovation needs six months of full-service design. The Bath Edit is a design-only bathroom service for homeowners in Summit, Short Hills, Chatham, Millburn, and surrounding Northern New Jersey towns who are managing their own renovation and simply need the design done beautifully.

You are keeping your existing footprint. You do not need construction drawings for permits or your contractor. You need a professional bathroom design, expert finish selections, and a plan your contractor can build from. That is exactly what The Bath Edit delivers, in a fraction of the time of a fully managed renovation.

The Bath Edit is designed for you if:

•          You are keeping your existing footprint. The tub, toilet, and vanity stay where they are.

•          You do not need construction drawings for permits or the contractor.

•          You are comfortable working directly with your contractor on placement and installation details.

•          You want a designer’s eye and access to trade-only sourcing without the investment of a fully managed renovation.

How it works:

•          STEP 1 → Discovery call. A brief 15-minute call to confirm The Bath Edit is the right fit for your project. If it is, we send your design questionnaire and ask for inspiration photos.

•          STEP 2 → Design consultation. We meet in your home, review the space, and take full measurements. Your floor plan is built from this visit.

•          STEP 3 → Selection Day One. A focused morning at our trade partners in Summit for tile and lighting. Every selection is seen in person and reserved that day.

•          STEP 4 → Selection Day Two. One appointment in Morristown covers plumbing, vanity, hardware, and quartz. Mirrors are curated online.

•          STEP 5 → In-home finish review and paint consultation. Every finish is reviewed in your bathroom, in your light.

•          STEP 6 → Delivery. You receive a complete finish schedule and specification package your contractor builds from, with orders placed and tracked by our studio. Our design time is complete and you’re ready to go!

Paint Consultation

PRICE: Up to four rooms: $600. Four to eight rooms: $1,200. Over eight rooms: $2,400

Choosing paint colors is one of the most impactful and most stressful decisions in any home. A professional paint consultation takes the guesswork out of it. KR Interior Design offers in-home paint color consultations throughout Summit, Short Hills, Chatham, Millburn, and surrounding Northern New Jersey towns, so every wall, trim, and ceiling in your home works together beautifully.

How it works:

•          STEP 1 → Before we meet, we ask a few questions by email about the direction you are drawn to. Warm neutrals, saturated color, soft and beachy, moody and dramatic, etc.

•          STEP 2 → We arrive at your home with a library of paint swatches. Together we work through the space, testing colors in your rooms and your light. Consultations typically run a few hours depending on the size of your home.

•          STEP 3 → After the consultation, we organize every decision into a complete paint schedule: every color in your home listed by room, with walls, trim, and ceilings specified, including finishes and color numbers, ready to hand directly to your painter or contractor.

Wallpaper Consultation

PRICE: $200 per room

The right wallpaper transforms a room, and the options can be overwhelming. Our wallpaper consultation brings the design showroom to you. KR Interior Design sources, presents, and purchases wallpaper for homes in Summit, NJ and surrounding towns, so you see only curated options that suit your space, your style, and your budget.

How it works:

•          STEP 1 → You share a few inspiration photos of wallpaper styles you love, along with photos of your space.

•          STEP 2 → We source multiple options through our design showroom and trade resources, and gather samples selected specifically for your room.

•          STEP 3 → We meet in your home to review the samples together, in your space and your light, and select the wallpaper that works best.

•          STEP 4 → We provide complete details on your selection, including pricing and availability, then we purchase the wallpaper through our trade account and have it shipped directly to your home.
